Coping with stupid clients

Client: “I had to fire my last web designer, so Im looking for a suitable replacement” Me: warily “Do you mind if I ask you why you fired him?” Client: “I went around to his house to look at some changes and I couldnt believe my eyes - the kitchen cupboards didnt match the worktops, the carpets didnt match the sofa and worst of all he was using one of those ghastly old CRT monitors. And he calls himself a designer?”

Yeah, yeah, I’m sure there’s a post somewhere titled, “Coping with stupid designers.” But in that case, you just fire them.
