Wicked Meth

Probably one of the few times that distressed or “wicked worn” is an appropriate design choice in Montana: Montana Meth Project

Technical Illustration

Technical Illustrator Student Lessons & Tutorials - Kevin Hulsey Technical Illustration Crazy amount of work. Almost seems like it would be easier to use 3D modeling rather than 2D illustration programs.

Typical Job Description

Classic example of the maxim that all good jokes need to have an element of truth in them: Talented Designers Only!

“Graphic Designers! Gather around. Here is your chance to have a job that frees you of the burden of being rich! We’re looking for people that will do more work than our sales executives and make a third of what they do! Exciting! Who wants to make $25/hour when you can make $9/hour? Think of the tax advantages! Don’t expect to move up though, unless you know XHTML, Java, Apache, PHP, C+, etc. Of course, then you’d be a programmer, and we’d have to pay you more. But if you are a simple-minded yes-man willing to spend your life chained to your cubicle, able to take harsh criticism, and receive little recognition for your work, then your are just the slob we’re looking for!

“And remember, two million wanna-be’s are gonna be knocking the door down to work with us, so get your rsums in so we can lower the standard and payscale for everyone! Yay!”

Google Page Creator

Today my Google Page Editor account was activated, so I jumped on to try it out and created a simple page. The editor is pretty basic, but I don’t think I’m necessarily their target demographic. I suspect they are planning on taking on other free web page providers like Geocities or Myspace. They seem to be using Divs and CSS for the main layout but not for user defined formatting changes (can you say <font face=”verdana”>? …ugh).
