Firefox Extensions
April 22nd, 2005Lots of cool Firefox Extensions. I already had a couple of the extensions mentioned in this article, but I just added a half-dozen more. The FTP client is slick, as is the weather and bookmarking extensions.
Right now my Firefox is loaded down with Dictionary Search, Adblock (awesome), Automarks, Bookmarks synchronizer (lifesaver), Web Developer Toolbar (super useful), Copy URL+ (I don’t use it that much), Target Alert (cool, but the icons often mess up page layouts), Linky (also don’t use a lot), ViewSourceWith, Resizeable Textarea (really slick), SmoothWheel (literally slick), SessionSaver, FirefoxView, IEview, ForecastFox (great and unobstrusive), Add Bookmark Here (looks great so far), TinyURL Creator, and FireFTP. I haven’t really used TinyURLs very much, but with my hobby site using PostNuke with it’s huge URLs, I’m going to give it a shot.
